New management is starting to bring this park back. Still a lot to do but progress is being made. We used park as a base camp to visit relatives so it worked out fine. Some satellite TV friendly sites, Sprint data card worked OK.
I called Harts on 10/2/08 to see if campground was open and was advised that it is now closed. I suspect it is because of the downturn in the industry. If your thinking about going there, call first.
Campground is very nice. Landscaped with palms, and various flowering trees. Some sites have slabs. There are several very long pull thrus suitable for the large rigs even towing trailers. This park is very much in demand during the usual speed week events at Daytona. We camped in August with PassPort America. This is our park of choice in Daytona.
Campground is located behind the Lee Hi Travel Plaza, well away from the truck parking. Country atmosphere with a view of the mountains and sunset. We have stayed overnight here several times.
OK place to spend a couple of days in the Buckley area. This is a black top parking lot with 20 and 30 amp electric, sewer and water hook up. Be sure to check the electric as I found miswired plugs and some of the 20 amp outlets were dead. We stayed 3 nights and had no problems.
Not our type of park. Narrow access road to park which is located in a valley in the woods. Great park store, office and restroom facilities. Planned to stay three nights but stayed one. Good family park.
Very handy park for the Richmond, VA area. Park is just off US 1 but it is a fairly quite area. Good access to shopping about a mile south of the park. Several long pull thru sites. We stayed 6 nights and would return.
Well maintained park along the Mohawk River. Newly installed 50 amp electric. Boat launch and slips available but no swimming. Under new management and the place looks great. Close to the Capital District.
